About Us

Your hosts, Gabe and Mandi, welcome you to their home and beautiful Ketchikan, Alaska.  They have had the good fortune to live their dream in "God's Country" and look forward to sharing their little piece of paradise with you. 

Gabe grew up in logging camps on nearby Prince of Wales Island, just outside of Ketchikan.  As a child on a remote island in Alaska, the wilderness was his playground.  To this day, Gabe is an avid outdoorsman, spending most of his free time fishing and hunting. 

Mandi grew up in Ketchikan, playing outdoors, fishing and exploring the beaches on outlying islands.  Mandi feels there isn’t a more beautiful place to live and takes pride in living off the land.

Gabe and Mandi met in high school in Ketchikan and were married a few years after graduation.  Together with their two children, Natasha and Gregory, they enjoy all that Alaska has to offer.  From hiking and fishing to camping and exploring; every day is an adventure.
